Caving Bonaire: entrance to the caveAs Bonaire consists mainly out of limestone (fossile coral reefs), there are many caves on the island.

On this trip you will visit two different caves. The "dry" one has many stalactites, stalagmites and even the special helectites. Those caves are of the uttermost importance for Bonaire's ecosystem.

Caving Bonaire: wet cave for snorkelingThe second cave is a "wet" cave and here you will snorkel in crystal clear water and maybe meet the cave shrimp or the rare cave-fish. Our caves are natural without artificial lighting, handrails or footpaths. So bring along proper footwear and good physical fitness.
