Recently Outdoor Bonaire followed a course about mangrove ecology and management. During this course it has been made clear that our mangroves clearly suffer badly from all those free roaming goats, sheep and donkeys. Plans are made to do something about this. Help from several organisations is needed and Outdoor Bonaire will do his part. Mangroves are realy important eco systems and they need all the help they can get.

These are solar powered thus reducing the amount of batteries greatly.
We still need batteries for the underwater caves, but at least this is one big environmental friendly step.
